Wow! This one actually has some measure of meaning to it. And that ending, however stupid, was entertaining.

She likes sex a lot. Fascinating!

I apologise, it appears I forgot to attach my rating for this film with the post. I rated this film ★★½☆☆.

Forget The Room, Gayniggers from Outer Space is the true apotheosis of the "so bad it's good" film. In this epic of unprecedented and truly stupendous proportions, an exclusively male alien species termed, and I quote, "gayniggers" happen upon our lowly planet, Earth, and with the help of the heroic Sergent Shaved Balls endeavour to free the oppressed male population from the "evil" female species. I cannot believe this is an actual thing, hilarious. They made the Asian women go "aaaaaaaaaeeeeeeeeeeoooooooooooiiiiiiiiii" in a high-pitched tone to imitate Mandarin, I can't.

It starts off interesting and Johnny Depp gives his best performance to date, however, it's all downhill from there. The film is inescapably meandering and repetitious making it a very dull experience. You just follow the main duo through their drug-related misadventures, but they're all much too dull and cyclical. I guess it portrays how some drugs feel, but that's hardly enough to fill 2 hours of content.

Entertaining, but flawed. Christian Bale acts intensely (bordering on overacting) and some scenes possess an impressive atmosphere, but the film overall isn't all that impactful. The ending ruins the (somewhat) subtle manner in which the twist was initially presented by having Patrick overtly admit that he was, in fact, merely living a fantasy. That said, I wouldn't say I was all that engaged by it, save for the entertaining ultraviolence.

I really don't see why some people love this. It starts off inert and pedantic, continues on so for the first two acts and then takes a very odd turn in its third act. What seems like a horror/mystery gets a preposterous reveal that reminded me of Get Out for some reason. The seemingly peaceable village is, in fact, run by an "elite" that murders all the people who, to their perception, threaten this fictitious peace. Shortly thereafter, it shifts into an action comedy where our protagonist and his partner fell all the conspirators in a barrage of badly-edited action sequences. What's striking is the fact that I never so much as chuckled at any of the jokes in this. It was OK, I guess.

Incredible pulchritude. Felt illimitable weight borne by every scene. An existential journey. The need to accept a repugnant subsistence you groped for and cannot elude. The pain of the irrevocable. The beauty of grandiosity. A magnum opus.
